Wehe es gibt da jemanden, der den Commodore 64 nicht kennt (und nein, der C64 ist nicht der Vorgänger vom N64!)! 1982 erschien der C64 und besonders in Europa war das DER Heimcomputer der 80er. Besonders bei Gamer war das der Rechner den jeder haben musste und die Geschichten wie körbeweise Disketten getauscht wurden, kennt auch jeder. 1994 wurde der C64 offiziell eingestellt. Aber eigentlich sorgt die Fanszene dafür, dass das System auch heute noch unterstützt wird. Bis zu 17 Millionen Einheiten sollen verkauft worden sein. Aber sind wir doch mal ehrlich dieser Rechner hätte mehr Verkäufe verdient gehabt.

But the fan scene actually ensures that the system is still supported today. Up to 17 million units are said to have been sold. But let’s be honest, this computer would have deserved more sales.
