The Acorn BBC Micro saw the light of day in the home computer world in 1981 and became a real cult in the UK. Unfortunately, almost nobody in the rest of the world knows about it. But the computer has some really nice software gems and interesting ports. The BBC Micro sold 1.5 million units and was available to buy until 1994.
