Und damit tauchten auch Games im MSX Universum auf wie man sie eigentlich nur vom Atari, von Apple oder von Commodore kannte. Aber das Highlight des Systems dürfte sicherlich Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake darstellen. Die Anzahl der Hersteller begann aber zu schrumpfen: Canon, Daewoo/Yeno, JVC/Victor, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Philips, Sanyo, Sony, Toshiba und Yamaha.
