Interessant ist das Gerät schon – nein nicht von den Games her, die waren eher eine große Enttäuschung – aber das Gerät konnte IntelliCards mittels RFID einlesen.
Mattel launched the HyperScan on the market in 2006. By the time it was discontinued – just one year later in 2007 – 30,000 units had been sold. The device is interesting – not in terms of the games, which were rather a big disappointment – but the device was able to read IntelliCards using RFID.
