Der Game Gear erschien 1990 in Japan und 1991 in USA und Europa. Eine Menge der Spiele vom Game Gear Handheld sind nahezu identische Ports vom Sega Master System. Sega wollte mit dem Farbscreen gegen den Gameboy bestehen. Leider klappte das nicht. Aber immerhin 10 Millionen Mal verkaufte sich der Sega Game Gear doch. 2002 fiel dann aber doch der Vorhang f\u00fcr den Handheld.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sega Game Gear is based on the technology of the Sega Master System. The Game Gear was released in Japan in 1990 and in the USA and Europe in 1991. Many of the games on the Game Gear handheld are almost identical ports of the Sega Master System. Sega wanted to compete against the Gameboy with the colour screen. Unfortunately, it didn&#8217;t work. However, the Sega Game Gear did sell 10 million units.
